Discipleship Pathway

The journey of discipleship is not linear. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to following Jesus. This pathway is simply a guide to serve you in identifying the next step of your spiritual formation journey and an invitation to root yourself deeper into our Ethos family. Move at your pace and in the timing that fits your limits. We're in this together!
Join the life of Ethos Church
Gatherings
Sunday Gatherings are the primary way we gather as a church to worship together, learn the Scriptures, pray for one another, and create space to hear from the Spirit. It is in these moments together that we collectively embody Jesus and his kingdom.
Ethos Socials are low-stakes, fun environments that serve as spaces for people to connect with one another. Ethos Socials are where familiar faces become friends.
On the last Wednesday of every month, we host our Ethos Prayer Gatherings at 7pm at our Bale Kenyon location (6861 Bale Kenyon Rd). The heart of our Ethos Prayer Gatherings is to foster a culture of normalized encounter with the person of the Holy Spirit. We believe that God wants to be with us and that He desires to speak to us.
Courses
Ethos 101-201 are self, paced online learning about Ethos. Ethos 301 is held in-person. The heart of Ethos 301 is to guide you into the family of Ethos.
Alpha is a fun dinner series followed by group conversations designed for those who would not identify as Christians and are interested in exploring life, spirituality, and faith through a Christian lens in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. It's also for Christians who may still have questions. Or even seasoned Christians who want to learn more about engaging with those who believe differently than them.
A ten week journey rooted in community designed to dive into our core beliefs and deepen our theology, grow in our spiritual practices, and cultivate the friendships that are vital to following Jesus and seeking his Kingdom in Columbus.
Community
The heart of how we live life together as a family here at Ethos and practice the way of Jesus together in Columbus is through our Ethos Communities.

An Ethos Community is a group of people who make a one-year commitment to gather together around the table with the goal of being formed by Jesus in community.
Our ongoing small groups provide the opportunity for continual connection with a different level of commitment than our Ethos Communities.
Small groups range from study groups to interest-based groups. They are easy to join because they are open throughout the year!
We believe students are an integral part of the body of Christ and that age does not dictate impact. We design each YTH night so that students can come together in community with other individuals who are learning to be with Jesus, be more like Jesus, and do what Jesus did, all while having fun and feeling known, loved, and cared for. Designed for students ages 12-18.
Ethos Young Adults is a space for the young adults of our community (18 - 30 years old) to encounter God, build friendships, and become more like Jesus. No matter where you are on your faith journey, we want Ethos Young Adults to be a place where your peers feel like family.
Impact
What if our church and our lives became a clear message to let people know that Jesus is FOR them? It's hard for people to know Jesus is FOR them if they don't see that we are FOR them. Ethos Church isn't just a place where we gather for church services. We're a community of people partnering with God to transform lives and love people in Jesus' name.
Giving generously with our money positions us to make the biggest impact possible in the world around us and live out our mission - loving all people in Jesus' name.
Below is a sample pathway. This is not a one-size-fits-all!
