Vision
To see EVERY person to be with Jesus,
to become like Jesus,
and to do what Jesus did.
Mission
We exist to love ALL people in Jesus' name.
Our Story
Jordan and Courtney Smucker have a heart to see a life-giving church of people from every age, race, and walk of life — a relationally healthy community that serves with relentless generosity — a church that looks like Heaven. After years of dreaming, planning, and praying, alongside 78 incredible servant leaders, Ethos Church was launched on September 16th.
Jordan is originally from Lancaster, PA and Courtney from Canton, OH. They met at school in Tulsa, OK and have been serving in vocational church ministry together ever since. With their two children, Sophia (15) and Judah (10), Jordan and Courtney are passionate about leading people to live on a mission to love ALL people, in Jesus’ name. They are committed to the commandment of Jesus to love one another as He has loved us — "Admittedly, we'll get it wrong but we try to sum it up with this question, 'What does love require of me?' — That is how we determine to live our lives and lead our community."
Our Future
In just the first five years as a church, we have seen hundreds of people commit their lives to Jesus, made an impact through multiple outreaches across our city, and we have experienced God's kindness. We ran out of space at Olentangy Meadows Elementary, and currently meet at Nationwide Hotel & Conference center for our Sunday gatherings.
We would love our story to become YOUR story. From the beginning, Ethos has focused on building a church for anyone to come to. From skeptic to saint — a church of everyone for anyone.
We believe that the life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion and energy of Sunday experiences, the authenticity of living in community, and the unity of a team makes Ethos Church one that people love to call home. We believe the best is yet to come and invite you to be a part of this community as we live on mission to love all people, in Jesus' name.
In This Together,
Jordan & Courtney

What if it's my first time?If you are a guest, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile – that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and see if Ethos is home for you.

What about my kids?We love kids! Our facility is clean, safe, and staffed with loving, trained, and background checked servant leaders. We offer a dynamic children’s ministry called Ethos Kids.
